Barbara Scott

Barbara Scott and her husband, Gary, reside in Redmond, Washington.  Married for 36 years, they have two grown sons, a daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren.  In her first book, From Rubble to Restoration, Barbara tells the dramatic story of their family's terrible undoing and divinely orchestrated reconstruction. For the past eight years, the Scotts have served with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) at their headquarters and flagship campus at the University of the Nations (UofN) in Kona, Hawaii.  They have traveled extensively in the Philippines, Korea, and Thailand, speaking in churches, YWAM bases, and other ministries. While in Kona, Barbara wrote many articles for YWAM's web site and UofN's Transformations magazine. Her short story, "She Pierced My Heart," is featured in Dr. Gary Chapman's book: Love is a Verb: Stories of What Happens When Love Comes Alive (Bethany, 2009). Barbara's passion is to inspire others through her writing to find God and experience His ability to work all things together for good.
