Terry Carlson is a graduate of the Institute of Children’s Literature and has articles published in Highlights for Children and Bread for Children. Terry and his wife, Karen, spent five years traveling across Washington and Oregon speaking to churches about MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), an international organization that reaches out to moms and their young children, teaching them God’s principles for raising kids. Terry and Karen were recognized for their passion of this ministry by receiving the Heart of MOPS award given annually to the individual(s) best exemplifying their desire to reach moms and their families for Christ. Terry loves to write and prays that God will use his words to encourage and convict readers in their search for the Truth. Terry and Karen, his high school sweetheart, raised three wonderful children and are blessed with two grandsons. They live in Stanwood, Washington, a town boasting a strong Scandinavian heritage nestled between beautiful Puget Sound and the majestic Cascade Mountains. They enjoy evening walks with Zoe, their Cocker Spaniel, and their Golden Retriever, Molly.
