Donald R. Brown

Donald R. Brown

Donald Brown served as a pastor in a small rural town as well as an Army Chaplain of an Engineer Battalion in Vietnam. He edited three different magazines and served as Public Relations Director for the National Association of Evangelicals for more than a dozen years. A freelance writer who published scores of magazine articles, he authored/coauthored five other books. His “most fun” assignment was preparing an appendix to an Oliver North book, War Stories. Brown had a BA and MA from Wheaton College and a BD from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He first became interested in fiction writing when he met James L. Johnson, author of the Code Name Sebastian novels. Don is now in heaven, but his wife, Shirley, continues his legacy of ministry through the shepherding of his books
